When a death goes undiscovered for an extended period at a Sheldon property, biological fluids migrate downward through floor layers under gravity and capillary action. What's visible on the surface is rarely the full extent of what's underneath. Our thermal imaging-first protocol reveals the actual contamination before we commit to a written flat-rate price — so the scope matches the reality.
📞 Call +1-844-401-0166 — Assessment-First ProtocolUnattended death cleanup in Sheldon isn't defined by what's visible — it's defined by elapsed time and the structural depth biological fluid reaches in that time. These four pillars govern how we approach every job.
We deploy thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters at every Sheldon unattended death scene before writing scope. These tools reveal biological fluid migration through flooring layers and into wall cavities — determining actual penetration depth rather than guessing from surface appearance.
Decomposition produces hydrogen sulfide, methane, ammonia, and a range of volatile biogenic amines that infiltrate adjacent rooms through shared wall cavities and HVAC systems. Our Sheldon crews address biogas migration as a distinct treatment phase — not an afterthought.
We don't pad scope to protect against uncertainty in Sheldon unattended death cases. Thermal imaging establishes actual penetration depth. The scope is built from data, the flat-rate price reflects reality, and the final invoice matches what was signed.
Unattended death discoveries in Sheldon are among the most sensitive situations a property owner or family member faces. Our crews operate with unmarked vehicles available on request, quiet deliberate movement, and genuine care for the personal nature of the situation.
From surface contamination to deep subfloor saturation — our Sheldon unattended death remediation service covers every phase of a scene regardless of elapsed time or structural complexity.
Before any material is moved at a Sheldon unattended death scene, thermal imaging cameras identify heat differential zones where biological fluid has traveled through flooring layers. Moisture meters confirm saturation depth in subfloor and wall materials. These readings define the actual scope and the flat-rate price.
When biological fluid has penetrated hardwood flooring, carpet and underlayment, drywall, or subfloor materials at a Sheldon property, in-place decontamination isn't sufficient. We extract affected materials under DOT 49 CFR biohazardous waste protocol, document every item removed, and provide the disposal manifests your insurance carrier in IL requires.
We assess volatile compound migration at Sheldon unattended death scenes before surface remediation begins. If biogas has migrated to adjacent rooms through shared cavities, those areas are included in the neutralization scope. Hydroxyl generators address molecular-level volatile compounds after structural treatment.
If a Sheldon unattended death scene shows evidence of extended duration, we assess HVAC involvement as a standard part of the scope. Decomposition particulate and volatile compounds introduced into air handling systems don't resolve without targeted treatment.
Hydroxyl technology neutralizes the biogenic amines responsible for persistent decomposition odor at Sheldon properties. Unlike ozone treatment, hydroxyl generators don't produce a secondary chemical smell and don't require property evacuation during treatment.
The documentation package from every Sheldon job includes the underlying assessment data — thermal images, moisture readings — alongside the standard ATP results, waste manifests, before/after photography, and remediation certificate. Insurance adjusters in IL get the full picture.
Elapsed time determines complexity. Our process is consistent regardless — thermal assessment first, scope from data, flat-rate estimate, documented remediation, ATP-verified closeout.
Your coordinator at +1-844-401-0166 gathers elapsed time information during the intake call — that information determines crew size and equipment needed at your Sheldon property. Dispatch initiates on the first call regardless of hour.
Thermal cameras and moisture meters reveal what's actually happening beneath visible surfaces at your Sheldon property. This assessment phase precedes scope writing — we don't commit to a price before we know what we're dealing with at the structural level.
The thermal and moisture assessment produces a written flat-rate estimate with line-item scope: affected surface areas, extraction requirements, biogas treatment if indicated, and odor remediation approach. Your signature precedes any remediation work at the Sheldon property.
Before we leave your Sheldon property, ATP luminescence testing confirms every treated surface meets clearance standards. You receive the complete documentation set: thermal imaging records, moisture meter data, ATP results, waste manifests, and remediation certificate.
"The tenant in our rental unit had passed and wasn't discovered for eleven days. Crime Scene Cleaner Online's crew used thermal imaging to show us exactly how far the biological fluid had migrated under the floor — something I'd never have known without it. The scope was detailed, the price matched the invoice, and the property was fully restored. I trust this company completely."
R. Fitzgerald — Sheldon, IL"The property manager who recommended Crime Scene Cleaner Online told me to expect thermal imaging at the assessment — and that it would determine whether we needed subfloor extraction. That's exactly what happened. The assessment took 30 minutes and produced a scope that was accurate to the real situation. No surprises."
D. Yamamura — Property Manager, Sheldon"Three days after the initial cleanup, I noticed the odor returning in the adjacent bedroom. Crime Scene Cleaner Online came back, ran moisture readings in the shared wall cavity, found additional saturation they hadn't seen during the initial assessment, and re-treated at no additional charge under their guarantee. That kind of accountability is rare."
